To Navigate our Day-to-Day tasks.
We use it to enter a task, communicate on a specific task, track progress, assign deadlines, and be transparent with our colleagues from different teams on the projects we are working on. We heavily rely on this board for our weekly coordination meetings, which since adoption run for 30-45 minutes, as opposed to 60-90 minutes.
Getting started tips
Assign a task and a team owner and utilize the updates function to track sub-tasks. You can also utilize the very valued function of e-mail to template and forward tasks assigned by email to this board. Very useful to clean out inbox quickly. If you have a big team, the newly launched team column will come handy too!

Why we love this template
It is straightforward and effective for a service-oriented team with multiple assignments coming from various parties. The updates feature gives a really nice overview of progress by project while the calendar features provide insights on progress over time. The e-mail to board function helps us be sane in a flurry of assignments received by gmail.
Without this template I would
be less productive and constantly forget assigned tasks. We would go back to having lengthy team meetings, multiple "sources of truth", mismanaged assignments and LESS BREAK TIME! Most importantly, our productivity has improved so much with Monday.com that we have had the chance to pursue multiple extracurricular professional development opportunities during our regular work hours.
