Track fundraising outreach
I share this template with my team to keep everyone up to date on the our fundraising. Everyone has a role to play when it comes to securing funding so having one place where everyone can go keeps things organized and avoids duplicating work or letting things fall through the cracks.
Getting started tips
Groups of pulses can consist of the the top foundations that are most aligned with your nonprofits mission and could possibly get funding from. The individual pulses can consist of the items/documents that need to be reviewed/completed for the application process. The columns should include an owner, the status of the task, and where they last left off. We like to keep this simple and colored status boxes helps us pick up the information fast. Any additional notes we like to include in the activity boxes.

Why we love this template
The template changed how we viewed fundraising. Before, it was frustrating and took a lot of back and forth between team members and information and little details would fall through the cracks. The template severs as a place we can save all the information and team members know where to go to find it and can immediately get a status update without having to ask a team member. We're on top of our fundraising game now!
Without this template I would
Without this template, fundraising would take much more of our time. Less time spent on fundraising equals more time we can spend on our projects and continue to try and transform finance rather than worrying about it!
